Finding your Golden Hour
The Space Between Who You Are and Who You're Becoming
From career milestones to car pool drop offs, school lunches to strategy meetings, you’ve become the go-to for everything. You hold it together with a kind of strength that often goes unseen — the kind that shows up even when you’re running on fumes.
This is where therapy meets you — not just as a mom, or a professional, or a partner — but as a whole woman. One who is allowed to want more without guilt. One who’s tired of carrying invisible loads. One who’s ready to feel like herself again. This is therapy that honors your ambition, your growth, and your capacity to evolve — because thriving should never mean compromising who you are. This is your Golden Hour.
The Questions That Actually Matter
Finding the right therapist isn’t just about credentials — it’s about connection. If you’re balancing ambition, caregiving, relationships, and the constant pressure to do more, you deserve support that truly understands your world. Here are thoughtful answers to the questions you’re really asking as you look for the right fit.
-
Therapy should work with your life, not add more stress to it. I offer flexible appointment times, including virtual sessions, so you can show up for yourself without rearranging everything else.
-
At Golden Hour Therapy, my approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in real life. I see therapy as a space where you can be fully seen — without judgment, pressure, or pretense. My style is active and engaged: I’ll listen closely, ask meaningful questions, and will challenge patterns that might be keeping you stuck. Sometimes, we need someone else to point out our own contradictions.
I blend evidence-based practices (like CBT, DBT, IFS, and relational therapy) with a deep respect for your unique story and strengths. Whether we’re working through anxiety, perfectionism, life transitions, or the emotional load of motherhood, my goal is always the same: to help you feel more connected to yourself and empowered in your growth.
You’ll never be met with clinical coldness or endless “how does that make you feel” loops — we’ll keep it real, reflective, and focused on helping you thrive in the in-between space: the golden hour of who you are and who you're becoming.
-
Golden Hour Therapy is an out-of-network provider, which means we are not directly partnered with insurance plans. Many of our clients are able to get reimbursed for a portion of their session costs — typically around 60–80% — depending on their out-of-network benefits.
We’ll provide you with a detailed invoice (called a “superbill”) at the end of each month. You can submit this directly to your insurance company for any reimbursement you’re entitled to.
Insurance can feel overwhelming — you're not alone in that.
If you’re planning to use your out-of-network benefits, here are a few important questions to ask your insurance company to help you feel clear and confident moving forward:Do I have out-of-network benefits for mental health services?
What is my out-of-network deductible, and how much of it have I already met this year?
Once my deductible is met, what percentage of each therapy session will be reimbursed?
What is the process for submitting superbills for reimbursement?
How long does it typically take to receive reimbursement once I submit?

Item description
Meet Erica, the founder behind Golden Hour Therapy
I'm really glad you found your way here.
I work with women and adolescents through some of life's most tender and transformative seasons — from high school to stepping into adulthood after college, to navigating the profound shifts of pregnancy and motherhood. These moments can feel overwhelming, exciting, disorienting, and beautiful all at once. At Golden Hour Therapy, we believe in honoring the space between who you are and who you are becoming — the in-between place where real growth happens. My role as your therapist is to walk alongside you in your own golden hour — helping you find your footing, your confidence, and your true self again.
Our Services
-
Individual Therapy
Whether you're navigating a major life transition, managing anxiety or perfectionism, or simply craving more clarity and connection — individual therapy offers a space just for you.
These 50-minute one-on-one sessions are tailored to your unique needs and goals. I offer support for adults, adolescents, and perinatal clients (including postpartum moms), using a whole person and evidence-based approach. Together, we’ll explore what’s working, what’s not, and build practical tools to help you feel more grounded, resilient, and aligned with the version of yourself you’re becoming.
-
Perinatal Therapy
Perinatal therapy offers emotional support and practical guidance during pregnancy, postpartum, and all the in-between moments of becoming (and being) a mother. This season can bring big feelings — joy, grief, anxiety, identity shifts, relationship changes, and everything in between.
Whether you're trying to conceive, adjusting to life with a newborn, grieving a loss, or navigating the mental load of motherhood, perinatal therapy helps you feel seen, supported, and less alone. Together, we’ll make space for your story, care for your mental health, and build tools that support your well-being — in motherhood and in yourself.
-
Family Therapy
Family therapy creates a supportive space to improve communication, strengthen connection, and work through challenges together. Whether you're navigating a tough season, parenting struggles, or shifting dynamics at home, these sessions are designed to help each family member feel heard and understood.
We’ll focus on building healthier patterns, honoring individual needs, and fostering a stronger sense of teamwork — because healing doesn’t happen in isolation, and your family’s well-being matters.
